The Prince of Wales stopped one day at Ajmere, en route from Udaipur to Jodlipur, and met the Rajputanai princes. He distributed prizes atj Mayo College. He was received by the, nobles with the customary greetings, but the Gandtfiists deolared a hartal. All shops were shut and cabs were unprocurable, but there was no demonstration against the visit. ,
