Katoa, Wellington, Deoember 6th. SHIPPING NOTES. The Opihl arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Newcastle, after a good trip. She has hardwood for disoharge for the Lyttelton Harbour Board.The Kanna, due to-morrow from Westport, will now call at Timaru on her to Ihinedin. The Wootton arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington. She is to sail on the return trio to-day. Tho Katoa, from Auckland via Wellington, arrived yesterday afternoon, unci is to sail for Dunedin at noon to-day. She is due back on Sunday, and is to load here for Wellington and Auckland, sailing Monday. The Wanaka has been delayed in the south by rain, and is now due on Saturday to load fez Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. She is to tail for Wellington on Saturday night. The Opua arrived, at lyttelton late on Monday night with a cargo of timber from Port Craig. She is to sail to-night for Wellington and Greymouth, taking cargo. Tha Kamona sailed last night for Timaru to complete discharge of her cargo of coal. She will then go to Westport, where eha will load for Wellington. The Kaiapoi is due at Lyttelton from AdoI laide, via Auckland and Wellington, on December 14th. The Wahine brought a large number of passengers to Lyttelton yesterday morning, I it eluding passengers ex tho Mam&a and the lonic. Included among the latter were about 120 immigrants, many of whom hailed from Glasgow. Captain McLean, who has been acting as extra chief officer of the Wahine, ha* transferred to the Mapourika in a similar capacity. The Cygnet is to leave here early on Friday morning for Tory Channel, where she will load eheep for Pigeon Bay. She ia due back here on Saturday night. The auxiliary schooner Zita left Wellington
