VOLUNTEERS ILL-TREATED. (United S*rriee.j - LONDON, November 25. Fifty-tlhree haggard Englishmen, clad in oddts and ends of clothing, with wide, collared green shirts, and boots of rop© and canvas, and looking like starved brigands, have arrived from Spain. They are the survivors of a secretly, .recruited English contingent for tha Spanish Foreign Legion. They confirm the etatements of ill-treatment, and add that just because they could not understand Spanish "words of command they were beaten iwith rifle I>utts, slashed with whips, and tied to posts. They wrote, to the Premier and Commander fcenworthy, and their rekas« soon followed. X
