'N Pursuance of and exercise of tho powers vested in it, iu that behalf by Sec--1 tiona 9 to 12 of 'The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," it is hereby publicly notified that the Rangiora County Council desires to ob. tain the consent of the Ratepayers 'to raise a Loan of £15,000. Ths Council proposes to borrow the said sum by tho issuo of debentures by virtue of the provisions of the above mentioned Act. (a) The Special Loan is required for tho purpose of carrying out and paying for the work of electrical reticulation, erecting mains, and providing all material and things necessary or incidentl to supplyiur the Rangora County with Electric Power from like Coleridge. (b) The oum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £IB,OOO. (c) As security of the said Loan and for providing interest and sinking fund iu respect thereof the Council propose to make and lovy a special annually recurring rate of one-sixth (1-Gth) of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the Rangiora County. The term of the loan shall be 36J years. (d) It is prxmosed to pay out cf the loan the coat of raising the loan, the interest, and sinking fund for the first year, and the preliminary expenses in connexion with the scheme for which the loan is proposed U> be raised. _ .
