The Bishop of Zanzibar has created a flutter in ecclesiastical circles by seceding front the Lambeth Conference. Ho declares that other Bishops have overthrown the Lambeth compact by endorsing the Bishop of Manchester's permission to Nonconformists to preach from Anglican pulpits. His secession does not affect the Zanzibar bishopric. REV. R. J. CAMPBELL. LONDON, November 4. The Rev. R. J. Campbell is resigning the charge of Christ Church, Westminster, owing to tho pressure of his preaching and writing engagements for the next half year. He feels he ought not to allow bis parochial duties to interfere with his special vocation of preaching.
