OBITUARY.

The death is announced of Mr William Allan aged sixty-seven, head of the well-known Wellington drapery firm of Messrs Veitch and Allan.. Mr Allan 'was a prominent social welfare worker in the city. The death is reported from New Plymouth of Mr Henry Putt, aged 96. He was a passenger by the first ship to New Plymouth the William Bryan, on March 30th. 1841.
