ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.
The Cliristchurch Orchestral Society's third concert of the current season will be held at the Choral Hall on Wednesday, 16th inst. An attractive programme has been arranged, and the Society's full orchestra, of £xty performers will play overtures, "Orpheus in. tha Unicrworld" (Offenbach), "Semiramiß" (Rossini), "Suite Three African Dances" (Ring), "Saltaiello" from Italian Symphony (Mendelssohn), "Triumphal March.'' "from "Cleopatra" (Mancinelli), the ever-populaT Mendelssohn's "Spring Song," Eccentric Dance (R. A. Home); the March from '•Danses and "Valse Des "Pleura" from "Casse-Noisette Suite" (Techaikowsky), and a March (Grieg). The soloist win be Mies Cicely Audibert, who will sing sorfl of the best of her extensive repertoire.
