ST. ANDREWS COLLEGE.

ANNUAL SPORTS. The bo-a or St. Andrews College held their fourth annual sports meeting in beautifully fino weather yesterday, and. although heavy rain had fallen on the previous night the course was not badly affected. The big ground adjoininc the college is an ideal one for such a gathering, and the large number of parent, and frier.da enjoyed themselves thoroughiv. The sports were marked by big fields sad keen competition, and practically every boy in tho school, from tho head boy to the tinv tot of eix was a competitor. The only fault "to be found with the function was that the jirosramu-.e was too long, much too long for a. one-dav meeting, ior 81 events, many of them several heats, aro too many for officials, competitors, and spectators alike. However, the gathering was a most successful one. Several records were broken during the day, which is to be expected in a, young school," and the majority of tho performances were well up to secondary school standard. The Senior Championship wae won bv AV. Brown, with 16 points, E. F. Lochhe'ail beinsr second with 9, while the Junior Championship was annexed by G. Mortlcck. The under H Championship fell to L. Milliken 0 points), with T. H. Dowlmg (G points) recond. B. Donovan (IV secured the Preparatory Championship, B. Canavau (7 points) being second. The playing of the school pipe, band was a, feature of the afternoon, and was much appreciated by the spectators. Following were tho various results: Pulling the Weight (record 26ft lOJin, D. K.
