The street fair to be held to-day in Hereford street, in aid of the funds of the Navy League promises to be » most successful undertaking. An entirely new feature of it will be a millinery stall, displaying a splendid assortment of hats of nil kinds, including some frr tfolb, ivnrf nl<w>. bow '"* caps. Taking into consideration tne skill and art bestowed upon the work bv the promoters, coim>m«l * k ™ tuV extremely moderate prices to be charged, it is safe to say that a clearance ot the stock win very quickly be effected. Another new feature will be a mus and apples" stall. Other stalls, for all of which large stocks are guaranteed, will bo for produce, flowers, cakes, and sweets, variety, needlework, and books. The attendants at the stalls will be : Produce: Mesdames W. B. Fox, J. Cracroft-Wilson, F. Archer, Blunt, M. Rich, Messrs Fox, T. Chapman, and Bowker, and helpers. Flowers: Mesdames R. W. Anderson and J. Wyn Irwin. Variety: Mesdames E. H. Wyles, G. A. U. Tapper, and Miss CholmondeJey. Books: Miss Heywood, Mrs J. S. Thomson, and Miss Reeves. - MHlinerv: Mesdames 0. R. Beadel, S. K. Sleigh, and H. J. Marnner. Cakes and Sweefo: Mesdames H. S. Batchelor, H. Wyatt, and W. Brown. Nuts and Apples: Mesdames Theo. Barker, Algar Williams, and Miss Boyle. „ ... Needlework: Mesdames A. E. Smith, Stratford, Thompson, H. J. Raphael, and Misses Allen, Byrch, G. Russell, Kitson, and Stericker. Art unions will be drawn in the evening for gold nuggets, water-colour painting, "Drifting Fog," by Mrs E. Baird Friberg, valued at £ls, and Ruskin art flower bowl, valued at £3. Tickets for all art unions are Is each, and mav be had at the fair, or at the Navy League office, 119 Worcester i street.
