FRENCH TEAM'S TOUR. • Our London correspondent (writing on Auguat 25th), mentions that Mr C. F. Rutherford has aocepted the invitation of the Australian and New Zealand Augby Unions to take out a French. Rugby team to< play. h series of international games in Australasia during the month* of June, July, and August, 1922. 1 his will be the first tour overseas of the French Rugby players, and it should create a good deal of interest. The team will not be selected until about next April, after France has played ■%> international mutches with Scotland, England, Walee, and Ireland. Broughton scored the first - goal but from that time on the visitors led easily. At half time the score was I&—2.
