DESTROYERS PAID OFF. (By CtbV Push Ai*ocUtio_i —Copjrifht) (Asuiralift? N.Z, C&olfe AttcciitioD.) MELBOURNE, October 7. Three destroyers, Tasmania, Tattoo, and Success, have been paid off in accordance with the scheme of defence retrenchment. It is stated that the fleet has now been reduced beyond the safety margin.
