CLAIMS OP THE CITY. Cr. Eioaher moved that tho letter "bo reoeived, and referred to the Bv-lawß Committee for consideration, and report. He said tho City representation on the Harbour Board seemed hardly fair, under tho present system. Ho always considered that a fair tion related to population, and not to property. The time was opportune fov n reconsideration of the present arrangement. Tno motion was seconded by Cr. D. G> Sullivan. Tho Mayor said tho City at present was receiving only a tithe 6f the representation it was entitled to, Tho motion was carried.
