E. McSeveny, the rider of Micky Free in tne ispreydon Hurdles yesterday, was rendered' unconscious by a fall,'and removed to the hospital, where it was found he was Buffering from slight concussion. It is expected he wilt be about again in a day or two. (PEESS ASSOCIATION lELEGBAM.) AUCKLAND, August 11. Mrs G. E. Alderton, 6U, of .Heinuera, died in the hospital as the result of ft, motor accident m llemuera road, riho "alighted from a tram-car,' and went round the baok of the car and was 'struck by a motor on the t'other set of rails, tine died an hour later. WELLINGTON, August 11. The inquest, regarding the death of Thomas Thaw Young, of Dunedin, master tailor, who died in the hospital, showed that the .'deceased was on His way north on a health trip. ..The. coroHor found that the' cauae of death was
rupture of the stomach, due to perforation, on which followed general peritonitis. An inquest was also held on Edward Simpson, who was found iead on the reclamation ground on July 30th.. The coroner's verdict 'was that death was duo "tin an irritant poison, which in all probability, .was s 'f-- dministered. DUNEDIN, August 11. Thomas' Alexanuer Dale, a single returned soldier, was found dead this evening in the cellar of the Excelsior Hotel. He evidently mistook hiß way and entered the brittle cellar down a right-of-way, where he was found sitting with his head between his legs in a stooping position.
