The Supreme Council is progressing so satisfactorily that It is expected to conclude its sittings on Saturday, though the experts late to-night had not reached a compromise regarding Upper Silesia. BERLIN, August 11. Most of the newspapers feature Mr Lloyd George's speech (ib representing Britain's complete support of the indivisibility of Upper Silesia. The "Frankfurter Zeitung" alone prepares its readers for a compromise agreement. POLISH BAUDS DRIVEN BACK. (Received August 12th, 1.15 a.m.) . BERLIN, August 10. A message from Breslau reports that Polish bands who crossed the frontier near Roseberg were driven back after a fight with the police And British troops, in which the latter suffered! casualties.
