According to the "Daily Onxonicle," when Leafield power station is opened in the autumn an Imperial wireless chain will be completed, except at Cairo, where the buildings and apparatus are not ready. Lealeld'a capacity is estimated at 7,000,000 words a year. When the Cairo station is opened Leafield will transmit to Australia via Singapore and Port Darwin.
