The precise date of the Prince of Wales's visit to India has not yet been fixed. It is expected that it, will be announced by Mr Montagu duripg the Indian Budget debate. The visit probably will take place at the end of June or the beginning of July. ANGLO-INDIAN DtVOROE ACT. (Received May Ist, 8.0 p.m.) LONDON, April SO. The text'of the Divorce Act designed to remove the hardships under a recent decision that a divorce granted in England was not legal in India has been despatched.to India, and- will be introduced when the Indian Government's views are received. IMPERIAL PREFERENCE. (Received May Ist, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 30. ' The Question of India's adherence to Imperial preference' will ,be considered lloxt winter by the Indian Fiscal. Commission, which has been instituted in response to a suggestion by the Select Committee of the Indian Legislature. Probably an English economic expert will be 'included.. ~R.ATT.WAY STRIKE SETTLED. (Received May Ist, 5.5 p.m.) DELHI, April 29. , The strike of railwaymen at Lucknow has ended, after a duration of .two months. The men have resumed pending the publication of the terms of settlement."
