QUEEN'S OWN LODGE, No. 36, P.A.
At the quarterly summoned meeting of the Queen'H Own Lodge, Bro. W. J. Ballantine, W.M., presided. A letter wag read from a member of 45 years' standing, offering £IOO, providing the members contributed another JBIOO, tlie amount to bo invested, and the proceeds used for the purpose of paying • members' levies accruing from the F.S. Hospital free bod scheme, or any other benevolent purpose the lodge decided upon. The offer was accepted with thanks, and a special committoe was appointed to arrange ways and means to take advantage of it. Bro. H. McCan reported on the U.F.B. Council's annual meeting, and Bro. G. W. Lloyd on the XJ.FJB. Dispensary's annual meeting'. Both reports were received with satisfaction, and the delegates thanked. The secretary reported that the -valuation of all Friendly Societies would take place this year.
