DUNEDTN, February 7. The second carnival of the New Zealand Swimming Championship meeting was witnessed by another packed house. The proceedings opened with the_ half-mile intermediate boys' championship, for which Cunnold (Auckland) was the popular selection, with Batchelor (Canterbury) second choice. Tha "heads" prediction was borne out, as Cunnold quickly assumed the lead, and length b7 length he gained upon his opponent, who In turn gained upon the others.
