MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

TO THE EDITOR OF 'THE PRESS.", 1 Sir, —I entirely agreo -with, the remarks of Mr J. A. Frostick in "Tho Press" of this morning with reference to our city councillors. We require men who understand /how to handle their own business, and free from any party feeling regarding Labour or any other ticket. Men who will como forward and look after the city's affaire as a business concern should bo run. In tho past we ttiave seen too much of allnight meetings,, party fighting party, to the detriment of tho ratepayers "andl citizens. Can wo not get mon to como forward who are not tied hand and foot, and who are prepared to work for tho good of the city, andi thus avoid all this bickering at Council meetings.—Yours, etc., PROGRESS. February sth.
