Dempsoy, heavy-weight champion of the world, has announced that his bout with Jess Willurd, scheduled for March 17th, has been indefinitely postponed. Rickard will probably promote the DempaeyCarpenticr fight alone some time prior t3 September 6th, and if Dempsey is successful he will meet Wfllard on September Cth. Thero is no mention being made of huge purses. Rickard is anxious to hold » bout in N«ir York, whore the recent ruling of tb» Boxing Commission makes fifteen dollars the highest admission fee. Rickard is planning to offor the boxers only a perccntara of the receipts.
