BUILDINGS THAT DEFY TIME.

THE "IMPOSSIBLE" ACHIEVED. To obtain a building material that would positively defy the deteriorating effects of atmospheric conditions, ana at the same time be absolutely fireproof, has long been the dream of architects and builders the world over. That dream was fulfilled with the advent of "Everite" and "Asbestilite'' (Asbestos Cement building material), and it is now possible to erect indestructible buildings both economically and quickly. It is a magnificent tribute to the reliability and safety of building with asbestos-cement material that the British and Allied Governments should have used them exclusively for all munition factories during the great war. The first order for ''Everite" and "Asbestilite" in this connexion was for a few thousand feet, and was followed by a permanent demand for every.foot the manufacturers could turn out. This-accounts; for, the inability at that time to supply private demands from all_ over ' the world. Now, however, private orders can be executed, but builders would be well advised to place their orders early, as they will be supplied in order of priority. Full particulars can be obtained, and samples examined, at the Central Indent and General Agency Co., corner Manchester and Worcester streets.
