FARMERS' CO-OP. PICNIC.
The Oxford branch of the Uew Zealand Farmera' Co-op. Association held their anr riial staff picnic on the property of B, 0. Dixon, Woodstock, on Tuecday. The weather was ideal, and a. most' enjoyable day was spent. Following were the result? of the sports:—Single ladies' race: Hiss Mills 1 Miss Gilchrist S. Single- men's race: F. M. Wa.rd 1, H. McGrath 2. Married ladies' race: Mrs X. Lewis 1, Mrs D. McGrath 2. Married men's race: "W. h. Evans 1._ A. Moore 2. Woodstock handicap (prize given bv Mr W. E. Glafson): W. M. McClure 1, A. Bain 2. Three-legged race: F. M. Ward and \V. 1?. McC-lure 1, G. Wills and R. McGxat-b !>. Departmental relay race: Office staff (Miss Gilchrist, F. M. Wp.rd, "W. M. Mc"CluTe, and L. Zimmerman) 1.
