Noniinations for the Otahuhu Trotting Club's Summer Meeting close at 5 p. to-day. The. Gisborne R.C.'s Summer Meeting will be concluded to-morrow. A special train carrying thirty-one gallopers and fifty-one trotters arrived at Dunedin yesterday from Chr.istchurch. A special train carrying passengers and horses will leave Dunedin for Christdhurch at 9.5 p.m. on Monday. The Forbury Park Trotting Club's Summer Meeting will be commenced tomorrow. Acceptances for the Egmont R.C.'s Summer Meeting and the Te Kuiti R.C.'s Annual Meeting fall due tomorrow evening, when final payments for the Egmont- Stakes and Hawera, Stakes must also be made, A Press Association message says that at a of racehorse owners and trainers on Wednesday, it was decided to form a North Island Racehorse Owners' and Trainers' Association. The inside of the trial grass gallop was open for fast work yesterday morning:. Counter-Attack, who was brought home by Domades, covered seven furlongs in lmin 32 3-sth sec. He did not finish well. Kilrush and Rada covered half a mile in 51sec, and Bonny Mac, with Castellan, ran five furlongs up the back in lmin 2 4-sth sec. Mahawaponga gave -a fine showing over a round of the big hurdles, and Rippingill galloped half a mile comfortably in 54sec. Onslaught and Clean Sweep were companions in a mile gallop. Both''finished well 'in lmin 46spc, and Comment,'with Sans Souci, ran five furlongs in lmin 4 l-sth 9ec.
