That the housing dilemma applies.not only toTßritain ia revealedin a World survey issued by the Housing Department of the Health Ministry, which states that Canada's shortage is 60,000, Switzerland's 25.000, and Norway's 20 000. Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa also are affected* but not to the same extent. Italy, Sweden, and Holland have taken national action to meet the shortage. In the United States a shortage of two million dwellings has produced a serious situation, especially in New York.
