A watch, tooth, paste, a pump, iron, netting, spouting, rugs, medicine —concerning the prices of these and many other things, not excluding undertaking, the local Price Investigation Tribunal has recently received complaints. "There are a good number of complaints engaging the attention of the Tribunal at the present timp," said the chairman yesterday, "most \of them of a rather trivial nature. There are some of those which may he termed the more important complaints the investigations upon which are nearing completion, and in one or two cases prosecutions wils follow. One case, _ affecting the price charged for tea, is already in the hands of the Crown Law' Office. The Tribunal are watching the. prices charged for goods of which there is a declining cost, such as hacon, hoot-repairing, etc. In several cases recently, -where the circumstances did not in the opinion of the Tribunal warrant legal action, refunds were ordered or adjustments 'jd&dflk'*-
