BONUS ISSUE.

— • ONE BIG UNION FAVOXmED IN AUSTRALIA. (press association telb&ram.) AUCKLAND, December 18. A -largely-attended meeting' of trade unionists, after hearing Mr Bloodworth's report on the Arbitration .Court proceedings regarding the revised bonus, passed a strongly-worded resolution expressing lack ot faith in arbitration, and concluding: '<ffhe action of Parliament in hurriedly passing legislation to amend the Arbitration Act at the behest of the employing class proves beyond doubt that class war exists, and that the working class, to obtain a decent standard living wage, or improve it, must abolish the present system (the capitalists' system') and replace it by a system of production instead of profit. To that end, and to prepare for the inevitable struggle, we place ourselves on ' record as favouring one union in each industry, and one big union of all workers.
