The Centre Executive of the Canterbury and West Coast branch of the Kl'cl Cross Society met yesterday afternoon. There were present: Mr J. A. Flesher (chairman).. Mesdaines H. F. Wigi'im, and C. J. '11-eiea-ven, and Messrs H. L. Bowker, junr., and V. Kobinson. The financial statement showed that the centre had the sura of £27.2.35 lCd in hand at the present time. Expenditure on comforts, etc., during the past three months had been £2- c >33 10s 10J. . It was reported that there were 271 patients in the various hospitals and sanatcriums September, l'-37 in October, and 247 Hi November. The average sum spent pvr man cer week was 13.5 3d. ■
