A had occasion to call on Mr Bendall, proprietor of the wellknown art pottery shop. He was immediately impressed with the splendid display of gift goods, among which were so mo very beautiful examples of antimony ware, including vases, jewel boxes, etc. These are all Al quality, and the line is probably the finest of its kind in Christcnurch. In another part of the shop are some very choice boxes of stationery, also Christmas Anto stationery, as well as a beautiful assortment of Xmas cards! The stationery and cards are this season's stock, and very easily hold their own for beauty and exclusiveness. "We think our readers will admit that these goods are fully equal to anything they nave previously seen. Mr Benaall is fortunate in getting a shipment of the famous Queen Alexandra face powder— exquisitely perfumed—it is sold at 3s 6d lo 7s 6d per Box. Children's books from 9d to 17s 6d; tea sets, palm bowls, vases, odd cups and saucers, also Doulton and Moorcroft ware may be seen in great profusion at this fine modern store, 26S High street, near Rendezvous.
