WAIKATO COLLIERIES.
• REDUCED OUTPUT. (PRESS ASSOCIATION" TELEGSAiI.) AUCKLAND, Doc-ember 10. A shortage of trucks has again reduced the output of the Waikato collieries, and the Taupiri (Joal Mines, Ltd., during the past seven days has lost over IOCO tons through this cause alone. "It is particularly unfortunate that the coal supply should ho reduced at the present time," said a representative of .one of tho companies to-day. •'lt means that we will be unable to make provision for essential users for the holiday period, and some of these people will bo in dire straits."
