CANTERBURY'S ANNIVERSARY.
6 SERVICE IN CATHEDRAE To-morrow marks the seventieth, anniversary of the landing of the Pilgrims of Canterbury who came out in tho first four ships, tho Charlotte Jane, the Randolph, the Sir George Seymour, and Uiie Cressy. Tho Mayor invites all who arrived by these vessels and are still resident in the vicinity of Christehurcli to attend Divine service at tho Cathedral on Sunday morning at 10.45 o'clock. Bishop Julius, who is expected to arrive in Christdliurch. on I'riday from tho Old Country, will probably preach the sermon. Tnose intending to be present should, in order to secure seats, send in their names by noon on Saturday to the Mayor, er to Mr R. C. Bishop.
