Hooper, Iba Au*tralian amateur champion, who is to oontcst the English amateur channrionship at official headquarters. ... Mr Dixon, chairman ol the Billiards Council, presented Hooper with a diamond studded gold medal struck by the. late Billiards Association in honour of the Australasian championship, which could not be presented before owing to the war's Interruption.
