LADBROOKS SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.
* • Tho .to* and concert to celebrate the anniversary of the -LaUbroote Mevhodißt. Sunday School was held in the I'owu Hall on Friday owning. There waa a largo attendance, and tho Bev. B. Jdoteon presided. After tea a lengthy programme was gone through, tho ! epecial feature being the items oi the Tai Tapu Methodist Church choir of over twenty members. At tho conclusion of the proi gramme ,tho chairman read the report and balance-sheet, which showed very favourable results, and presentation of prizes to the children followed. During the evening Mr C Wolfe .gave an impressive address. The concert programme was as follows: — Choir, anthem; hymns by children; diiet, the Misses Tobeck; recitation, Willie Habgood; choir, anthem; recitation. Allen Rogers; eolo, Mr H. Watson, (encored); recitation. Jack Rogers; boJo, Alico Rogers; choir, anthem; recitation, Marion Turner; recitation. Jack Habgood; quartet, the Miseee Watson and Mr H- Watson; address, Mr C. Wolfe; choir, anthem; duet,' Jack Rogers and Alf. Habgood; choir, anthem; I hymn, children; duet, Mrs Dieliert and Mr H. Watson; recitation, Len. Rogers; choir, anthom. The prke lilt woe as follows:— Table Work—Alice Rogers. 301 marks, 1; Greof. Clark, 231 marks, 2; Hector Clark and Evelyn Clark, 225 marks (equal), 3.
