Tho Lily will eail to-day for Wellington, and the Zita, which arrived last sight, will get away on Thursday. The Wanaka is to Ic-aro Auckland to-day with a general cargo, inclndiEs- sugar, tor Lyttelton. Sho shotild be here by Friday morning. The Shalrristan arrrred at Napier at 6:un. yesterday from Adelaide. She is due hero about Saturday to complete discharge. The Ralranoa is to leave hero at noon today for Dunedin to complete discharge, <~f her Auckland cargo. The Kittawa and Kowhai, both with full loads of timber from Greymouth and Houto respectively, suro due this morning. Tho email steamer Wootton, also with timber from Gwymouth, ia due about Friday. Tho Eamo, duo on Thursday, brings a x>afteargo of timber.
Dalgety and Co. received a wireless message yesterday from the Runic, stating, that the vessel mrald arrive here this afternoon. After loading at Lyttelton the vessel will proceed to G5 shorn® to take in further cargo, and will' leave New Zealand about the end of this month for London, via Australia and South Africa. Owing to the present demand upon vie space at the Chrwrtchurch Railway goods sheds for passing large cargoes through, consignees of oargo ex sjr. Port Napier, now discharging at Lyttelton (> are urged to preBftnt the papers for -their consignment as early a® possible. , The Mokoia Left Apia on Saturday night for Suva, and leaves the latter port on October 20th for Auckland, with sugar. The Paloona left Melbourne at 1 p-m. on Saturday for Bluff aaid other ports. The Tahiti, en route from Auckland to Vancouver, arrived at Honolulu on Friday. SICKNESS ON BOARD ORVTETO. LONDON, October 10. The Orvieto arrived from Sydney with twenty-nine eases of measles on hoard. There were a few deaths among the children. (Received October 11th, 5.5 pjn.) LONDON, October 1L There were fifty-eight cases of measles on hoard the Orvieto and two deaths. Two others died of pneumonia. SEARCH ABANDONED. SYDNEY, October 11.
