STEWART ROBINSON HITS OUT.

SAYS HE IS AGAINST HOARDING STOCKS. "Local wholesale prices never influence me when marking goods," says Mr Stewart Robinson. "1 am happy to sell my stocks irrespective of what anybody else may be doing. When I make a bargain purchase I ask myself what is the lowest figure I can sell at and clear expenses;—not how much I can get. My boot shop in Cashel street is always busy—l like to see it so. All my assistants and myself are imbued with the one idea of keeping prices down and always offering better values than anybody else. That the public appreciate my methods is evidenced by the record number of boots I sell every day. Take the high-grade English box calf boots for men that 1 am selling for 29s 6d a pair. Beautifully finished and leather lined, there's nothing to'equal them in New Zealand—dozens of people have purchased them, and they all say how delighted they are with their bargain. For this week I , am offering remarkablo values in ladies' shoes. Ono line is of the newest long style in high grade patent leather —the kind of shoe that satisfies the most particular lady —my price for this week is only 24s 6d a pair. Then there is an exceptionally good line of ladies' patent Oxford walking shoes at 19s 6d a pair—l could sell them wholesale af this price if I liked. 1 have also just landed a big shipment —500 pairs—of white tennis shoes; my prices are> —men's 7s 6d, ladies' 6s 6d a pair; they can't be bought wholesale at these prices to-day. For men I have reduced the prices of heavy greenhlde shooters 3s a pair; my price this week will be only 30s. These are the best shooters made, suitable for mining and the roughest wear, each boot having a ■waxed-thread sewn counter at the People looking for real bargains will find much. to interest them this week at Stewart Robinson's, in Cashel street west. - e
