OIL TANK EXPLOSION.
HUNDREDS IMPERILLED.

A verified account of the explosion on the oil tanker Crowe, shows that five were killed, sis seriously injured, and forty slightly injured. There was a 'terrific explosion of oil vapours in the hold. . v Several hundred ironworkers who were engaged on repairs to tho. Orowo were imperilled, and six large steamers lying ntairby wero endangered. lno Bremen's remarkable work prevented more serious damage, as well as a greater loss of life.
