OBITUARY.
The death is announced from Wellington of Mr George McMorran, formerly headmaster of the Terrace School, and an ex-president of the New Zealand Educational Institute. He was aged sixty-six. Mr "Walter C. Ouff, who for the past thirteen years lias been clerk of the Hutt River Board, died on Monday. He was a-very old settler in New Zealand. For forty-one years he was in the service of the Bank of New Zealand. He joined its service six months after the bank was inaugurated, and for a part of the time was manager at Greytown. He was afterwards on the staff of the Assets "Realisation Board. He has left a widow, a son (Mr Charles Cuff, one of the inspectors of the Bank o? New Zealand), and four daughters (Meklames C. R. Sinsted, and H. G. Turner, of Wellington, Mrs Percy Rutherfurd, of Rhodesia, and Mrs Alpe, of Auckland).
