—: :—« Th« Now Brighton Miniaturo Riflo Club held & smoke concert last night in the club room. Captain A. W. Owles, vice-president, beinfr in the chair. During the courso of the . evening prizes -non during the year in the various ohib competitions wore presented to Mr Munns (champion enp and gold medal), Messrs "Hobbs, Catton, Bishop Osxnent, Hayes, Clark, Fantham, and Hawker. Musical and vocal items were given by several present, including "Private Still" by Mr C. Burmoister. A pleasant function concluded with th** singing of "Auld Lang Sync'
