The first airplane flight from Wellington to Wanganui was made successfully yesterday bv Captain Russell, who left Petone at 10.7 a.m., and arrived at Wanganui at 11.27. The weather was ideal foi the trip. The landing at Westmere was perfect. Great interest was taken in the flight over the town, a big crowd watching the machine.
