) < —4 : , ' On Saturday afternoon Mr TV. Hamili ton, traction engine-driver, Ssouthbrook, 1 had his right forearm badly lacerated 3 by a. circular saw, tho tendons being - severed. The saw; was being used for i firewood cutting, and Mr Hamilton was * adjusting a belt when the accident occurred. He received surgical attention 5 from Dr. Burnett at the Brockenliurst Hospital. (rniSß ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM. V MASTERTON, September 5. A young man, Peter McPherson, was found dead in a washhouse this morning, with a wound in his broast and a rifle beside liim. He left a letter which indicated that he was of unsound mind. '
