THE THIRD PARTY.
(Received July 12th, 7.-15 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 11. The Chicago correspondent of tho "Now York Times" says that while tho opinion is expressed that the National Labour Fartv will not merge with the 'Third Party" there is a considerable probability that both organisations will adopt tho same platform and the same Presidential candidates. It is hoped that Senator La Fcllette, of "Wisconsin, will be prevailed upon to accept the Presidential nomination.
[Tiie so-called "Third Party," formed by Mr William Randolph" Hearst ; which is expected to place a Presidential candidate in the field in opposition to the Republicans and Democrats, will soon hold a convention at Chicago. The party is composed of tihe former Labour Party, the Agricultural Non-Partisan League, war veterans, and those generally dissatisfied'with the two major parties.]
