A SEARCH FOR ARMS.

D"iiblin is surrounded by military pickets, operating behind barricades, who are searching inward and outwardbound vehicles, whether horse or motor. Occasionally pedestrians are halted and searched. All the soldiers 'have full lighting gear, and are on guard against surprise attacks. There is a similar movement in other parts of Ireland, including; Belfast, which is aimed at pre- * rating the transfer of secret supplies of arms and ammunition about tho country. . A ' : -. ccr report says the military activity in Dublin is undiminished. * The erection of defensive barricades, elaborate sandbag redoubts, and shelters continues. The military occupy the schools and churches on the outskirts of the eity- 'lhere is no relaxation of the vigilance in examining vehicles entering and leaving. Sir Edward Carson has arrived in Belfast to participate in Monday's demonstration.
