ENGLISH CRICKET TEAM.
(By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian, and N.Z. Cable Association.) liONDON, June 28. The "Daily Mail" publishes a private letter from Australia, in which the writer stated that many unpleasant scenes were likely to occur during the test matches unless the English eleven was formed exclusively of men who saw service during the war. The letter continued: —''Scientific barracking was invented in Australia, in which she still leads the world." The "Daily Mail" suggests that the M.C.C. should accept the hint, otherwise there would be bound to be trouble. The paper recalls that when the A.I.F. team was playing in England it dropped a pretty strong hint of a similar nature regarding opposing teams.
