The progress of musical art m N.Z. been very noticeable the la=t few years, and tho love of the New Zealander for orchestral music of a hicli grade has been proved by E the hu<*o crowds which have attended the B Orchestra's Monthly Sunday Concerts at the j Opera House. _ The organisation desires to thank sincerely J its numerous patrons and supporters for their r palronago and kind assistance during its j existence, and, notwithstanding the many fine numbers already performed, the Orchestra in- L tend to place excellent programmes before it® patrons in tho near future, and it is its intention to continue the high standard of these Sunday Concerts. It is very gratifying to its members to know that t-lie Orchestral Concerts have been so much appreciated, and so many of ite patrons desire to have a repetition of some of their favourite numbere performed.
