j LIMITING EXPORTS. I (i>y Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Beuter's Telegram*.) ' LONTJON, June 1. It is stated that the export of coal will henceforth be limited to 1,700,000 tons monthly, or 29,400,000 tons yearly, compared with 73,500,000 tons exportod in 1913. Coal exporters declare that the result will bo an increase in homeward freights, which, will increase home! prices. I The Government's policy, however, is I aimed at meeting the needs of the home consumers and keeping the industries going, so that manufactured goods can ultimately fill the cargo space hitherto occupied by the export of coal.
