MUTTON FIRM, BEEF HIGHER. STOEE SHEEP EASIER. (BY On: COMMERCIAL EDITOR.) There was a large yarding of eheep and lambs of all classes at the weekly stock market than was the case last week, and a smaller yarding of cattle. Prime mutton maintained its value, and beef showed an advance, Store sheep values showed an easing. The .~.t tendance was about the average. STOEE SHEEP. The yarding of store sheep was about tliA Banie as last, week, r.d was of tho usual mixed description, e.wos, wethers, and lambs being fairly evenly represented. There was a considerable number of the lines offered of a very inferior description. Bidding was particularly slack, especially for iaferieff eheep, and prices generally were lower. A good demand existed for the bitter lines of locallv-bred limbs, but wethers were not so firm as at rc-cent sales. A considerable number of lines wero turned out unsold.
