Showery conditions have prevailed ,in the East Coast and southernmost difrtrictp, but elsewhere the weather has been fair, though cold; southerly breezes have predominated, and atmospheric prcssuro has increased slowly. ■ . Present indications are for cool, fair to cloudy weather generally, but misty at times, with ecattered showers probablo in the' northern and southern districts and along- the East Coast. Moderate to strongS.E. to N.E. winds may Iv? expected, and a falling barometer in tho South shortly.
