HOCKEY.
TO-DAY'S TOURNAMENT. The annual tournament of tho Canterbury Hockcy Association will bo held at Soutii Hagtey Park (Hospital Corner) to-day. 'Aha tournament has drawn sixty-sqvui entries, re.jrcseutinf; twenty ladies' teams, for tho six-a-tide tourney, and forty-seven men's teams for the five-a-sido games. Over three hundred and fifty hockey players will participate, and the event bus dia.vn an entry from, an Olago team. Play wiil commence at 1.15 p.m., with tli-o first round of the secondary and primary schools, and will bi run on the lines of a "knock out" composition. Ihe presentation of trophies to the membera of the winning teams will take plnco at the conclusion of the finals. Trains must be ready to commence on the allotted ground at tho allotted time.
