JOCKEYS' DISPUTE.
LABOUR'S HOSTILITY TO A.B.C. MEETING. TIIAMTTAYMEN MAY REFUSE TO RUN RACE CARS. , (press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, June 2. At an open-air meeting, held to-night, which was addressed by several Labour members of Parliament, it was stated by some of the speakers that pickets would bo stationed at the railway station gates and at the entrance of the Ellerslie racecourse to-morrow. It would bo tho duty of the pickets to mark ' members of trado unions attending the races and report their names to their respective organisations, lhey would also use their persuasive powers to endeavour to induce intending racegoers to change their minds about_ going to Ellerslie. It is understood that the tramwaymen will refuse to run race trams, but will_ carry out all other duties in connexion "with the tramway service tomorrow.
