The Greek Legation in Paris denies the rumour that King Alexander is not returning to. Greece. According to a Delhi message, the Shah of Persia is suffering from a heat stroke, and .has cancelled a portion of his tour. Mr H. C. Xorman, C.SJ, C.8.E., who relieves Major-General Sir P. Z. Cox, as British Minister at Teheran, has reached Basra. A London message says Lord _Milner, Secretary of State for tho Colonies, will receive the delegation from Queensland, headed by the Hon. Sir Robert Philp, on June 10th. M. Renkin, Minister of tho Interior, in a speech, stated that Belgium should have a well-organised army capable of preventing a disaster worse than that of IS-14. Alliances and military arrangements between Great Britain and Prance ought to furnish Belgium with the means of defcnce, but their materialisation was uncertain.
