Following the American example, Selfridge's advertise that they are reducing the prices of clothing and boots bv 10 per cent., and of groceries by 5 per cent., pointing out that owing to the high prices America has ceased buying British goods, and Australasian orders are much smaller. Other firms are expected to reduce prices.
